Body Acupuncture

An acupuncture session is an effective and holistic approach to treating a variety of physical and emotional ailments. It can help to reduce stress, alleviate headaches, and treat chronic pain and anxiety. Acupuncture can also be used to help with insomnia, digestive issues, and other health concerns.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture is non toxic and can influence the overall health of the skin.

As the needles puncture the skin, they create positive microtraumas, which sends the body into repair mode. This stimulates your lymphatic and circulatory system, which work together to deliver nutrients and oxygen to your skin cells, nourishing skin from the inside out.

Acupuncture for Menopause

Acupuncture can be your natural solution for finding balance and relief during this transformative phase of life.

It can help reduce hot flashes, night sweats, improve sleep quality and combat insomnia, enhance energy levels and emotional balance.

What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine that dates back over 2000 years. It involves the insertion of fine needles into specific points throughout the body to balance the flow of energy, also known as qi, restoring the equilibrium between mind, body and spirit. The technique is simple, highly effective and efficient and most people feel significant improvement after their first session of acupuncture.

Acupuncture can be used to treat a wide range of ailments including anxiety, stress, knee pain, shoulder pain, headaches, migraines, menopause symptoms, and aging.

With ongoing shoulder niggles and a general feeling of “meh” (likely menopause related) thought I would try acupuncture and booked a treatment with Maddy, who has recently started her clinic at Pure Indulgence by the Sea in Whitstable.

I am completely blown way by how much better I feel after the treatment. Maddy is so lovely, her initial consultation is very thorough, giving you the opportunity to really think about how you are truly feeling. The treatment itself is of course painless and very relaxing.

In light of how I am feeling after the treatment I have already booked a further session and will aim to make acupuncture part of my lifestyle moving forward and I highly recommend Maddy!
